EUROPCAR'S 45 CAR RENAULT SPLASH

RENAULT SAYS: Renault South Africa has concluded a deal with Europcar in which 45 vehicles - 25 Sandero and 20 Mégane Shake it hatchback models - were delivered for use by the car rental’s employees countrywide. ‘Part of the world’s leading car rental network’ and ‘in association with Renault’ is emblazoned on the rear windows of all vehicles.

“We are proud of the fact that two leading global brands are partnering in South Africa and also that Europcar has included the Renault name in their branding of these vehicles,” says Leslie Ramsoomar, Vice President of Sales and Operations at Renault South Africa.

Imperial Car Rental was established 1979 and whilst their relationship with Europcar spans 25 years, they officially rebranded themselves as the global powerhouse in June 2009. As part of its brand launch, Europcar’s Marketing General Manager, Zavi Stein, says having our employees driving these vehicles has given our new brand incredible exposure. “From the outset, we were looking for different ad mediums to use and mobile branding gave us this platform. This said, value for money and optimal safety were key factors in our deliberations and as Renault delivers on both, the decision to go with the new Sandero and Mégane hatch was an easy one.”

Branded in the car rental company’s distinctive green, the Europcar vehicles, in association with Renault, have been cruising our national roads for some time now.
