After being introduced at the Geneva Motor Show, CITROËN Survolt is now coming to life as a genuine, fully electric racing car that will first spin it wheels on the Le Mans track on 10 July, with the experienced driver Vanina Ickx at the wheel.

CITROËN Survolt has been specially developed and its compact dimensions (3.85 m long, 1.87 m wide and 1.20 m high) feature a tubular chassis, flat base with extractor and fully carbon bodywork which makes it a genuine electric racing car.
Driven by two electric motors with a combined power of 224kW from 0 to 5 000rpm, CITROËN Survolt records outstanding performances with a maximum speed of 260km/h. Its contained weight of 1.150 tonnes even means that it can go under the bar of 5 seconds for 0 to 100 km/h and the bar of 22 seconds for 1 000 m standing starts.
The two 140kg lithium-ion batteries each have a 31kW capacity and can cover 200km. They can be recharged in only 2 hours with a specific power supply or in 10 hours on the standard 220 V network. This technological solution is extremely rare in the racing world, and CITROËN is offering a new vision of the car, a new look focused on creativity and technology.
