Auto Rearview Camera will be mandatory in the U.S.
Technology that helps the driver in maneuvering safety item will be standard on the country in 2014
The Traffic Department of the United States is investing in the implementation of a law requiring the use of cameras in reverse gear as a safety item for cars manufactured from 2014. It operates with a small screen that offers a 180 ° view from the back of the car when the defendant is engaged and is an item that may be essential to prevent minor knocks or something more serious, like a hit.
The NHTSA, the agency that administers traffic safety in the U.S., reported that, on average, 300 people die each year due to moves in reverse, and the most affected are children and old people. From 2012, 10% of American cars should have this technology - in 2014 the goal is to reach 100%.
