The optical retouching relates to the radiator. Instead of two, he now wears three horizontal struts, which the design is slightly delicate. A new surface treatment is to let the grill shine stronger. The brand logo wandered a bit up its fall colors from the new model contrast.

The torque rises by two to a total of 372 Newton meters. At the same time weight is saved. Compared with the old design an integrated solution brings to the cylinder head and exhaust manifold six kilograms less on the scale. Composite materials instead of aluminum for intake manifold expressed the weight by 2.5 kilograms. Slight drop from the power box cover and the connecting rods. Overall, the weight savings add up, according to Cadillac to 9.3 kilograms. The consumption and CO2 emissions of the engine brought back to Cadillac will announce at a later date
