The very first ever McLaren dealership will be open in the UK on the 21st of June 2011. McLaren London will be company’s flagship retail shop, and one of 35 in 19 countries. The Mzansi dealership will start selling the MP4-12C later this year from its Sandton premises. Later other models will be added to the lineup as McLaren faces off with Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini.
As for the London dealership, that is located at One Hyde Park: The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, a prestigious address in the city. About £800 million (R8.8 billion) has so far been invested since 2005 to ensure McLaren has the most competitive products in its segment in terms of performance, efficiency and customer service. Hopefully an example will be delivered to the 2011 Johannesburg International Motor Show (JIMS) in October.
