Fiat Linea 2007

Fiat Linea, which was present in Istanbul last October, now makes its appearance market. This three-box Segment C saloon gives a new interpretation of style, convenient and enjoyable driving, all for a very competitive price / content ratio. The car was developed by Tofas AS, the 50-50 joint venture between Fiat Auto and KoƧ Holding which is listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange. It will be manufactured at its plant in Bursa, Turkey (fully operational, the output will reach 60,000 units per year) and will be marketed in several countries and outside Europe: Spain, Germany, Morocco and Finland. At a later stage, the Fiat Linea also be manufactured in Brazil, India, China and Russia.


The new model has a clear international vocation, which was designed by the Fiat Style Centre, and its sleek exterior design, dynamic and typically 'Italian'. The aim was to attract the public with orderly lines, smooth, confirming the new family feeeling Fiat (Grande Punto in the new Bravo), so they offer a new reading of the stylistic elements of the Italian tradition in the car segment of the large sedans. This extraordinary stylistic heritage has produced the Fiat Linea, a 4-door saloon is elegant and stylish, but with generous dimensions that put it at the top of its class: it is 4.56 meters long, 1.73 meters wide, 1.5 meters tall and a wheelbase of 2.6 meters and a load capacity of 500 liters.
The same attention that went into the style of the interior, where the lines are harmonious and balance and with the outside, creating a brilliant atmosphere and offers an incredible amount of space and superior comfort, ergonomics and space where the driver and passengers are concerned. And in terms of quality, comfort, convenience and pleasure of the interior that the Fiat Linea aims to make a difference, supported by the refinement of materials and color combinations and attention to detail and the Assembly.
Designed for elegant refined clientele with personality, the new model is agile and fun to drive in all situations. He has a spark that is due primarily to its engines, which combine excellent performance, low consumption and absolute respect for the environment (they are all Euro 4). Launching the model is offered with a choice between a petrol engine (1.4 8v, 77 bhp) and a turbodiesel (1.3 Multijet 16v 90 bhp with a variable geometry turbo), both combined with five-speed mechanical, the 120 hp 1.4 16v Turbo from the new T-Jet family will be available at a later date.
The Fiat Linea range is very comprehensive response to a clientele that considers cars of this class as a real investment, because it represents the main family vehicle, and adapt to different markets where it is sold. In most of these, at launch, the range will offer two engines (1.3 Multijet 90 bhp and 77 bhp 1.4 16v), three specifications (Active, Dynamic and Emotion) and 11 body colors. The range also proposes equipment worthy of a higher segment, such as certain sophisticated devices for information and entertainment to improve comfort climate and quality of time spent on board: from automatic climate control, Blue & Me ® system with USB port radio CD player (including MP3 files) and cruise control, rain sensors to the evening and the parking lot. In other words, there are an infinite number of possible combinations, all offering excellent value for money and the best value for reasonable prices.
