Mazda Miata Special Edition

2011 Mazda Miata Special Edition-This 2011 Mazda MX-5 is the first convertible I've been in this summer, and the weather was perfect. Visually, the hardtop gives the Mazda Miata a buttoned-up look, but I was a little surprised that it didn't muffle out the wind noise better. The car feels nimble, and the combination of the six-speed manual transmission and high-revving, 2.0-liter four-cylinder make this car flat-out fun. There's decent jump off the line, and the quick steering response made this car perfect for dodging Michigan potholes and maneuvering through traffic.

Everything on this car is so well tuned from the steering response and feedback, suspension, clutch-pedal take up and slick-shifting manual gearbox. It's hard not to drive the MX-5 hard because the car seemingly demands you to. It does add 82 pounds over the soft top, but the car still behaves like a Mazda Miata should even with that weight up high.

Simply put, driving a Mazda Miata is a pleasure--top-down on a sunny afternoon cruise or terrorizing a local autocross course. Throughout the years, Mazda hasn't diluted the formula for the Mazda Miata too much. With just 2,600 pounds on its bones, the Mazda Miata, even in hardtop form, is still lithe and lean. The acceleration is strong, giving this car plenty of gusto.

The sparkling black metallic paint glittered in the sunlight, giving this particular Mazda Miata more dimension. Operating the hardtop was a cinch. Time spent driving this car made up some of the most fun I had throughout my weekend. EDITOR WES RAYNAL: I'll never turn down a blast in a Mazda Miata, even an over equipped, too-expensive one. Could it be one of the world's best-handling cars? Prices start at $23,110 for the soft-top. I felt as if I was crammed into the Miata Mazda Miata a. It was designed to be a small, lightweight roadster meant for those who loved minimal mechanical complexity and longed for a fun little car.

The Mazda Miata fits this mold perfectly. The car remained composed the whole way through.

The defining characteristic of the MX-5 Miata – beyond its nearly iconic shape – has been its handling, which is in line with the high expectations for such a low, light car. The same applies to the MX-5 Miata's engine. The tested MX-5 Miata comes with a six-speed manual transmission and a stubby, short-throw shifter. The clutch isn't difficult to use – it's friendlier than in some mainstream cars – but this Mazda has little tolerance for sloppiness in gear changes. EPA estimates are awful for a small car – 21 miles per gallon in the city and 28 on the highway – but the tested MX-5 returned a far more reasonable 30.7 mpg.

That mileage is still not stellar, however, for a car wit the MX-5 Miata's specifications – especially considering that it demands premium fuel. The seats on the tested Special Edition model are trimmed in white leather.

In a nod to American tastes, Mazda squeezed four upholders into the Mazda Miata interior, though all are small. The tiny doors also house stretches of mesh that could conceivably serve as pouches for small items; a small glove box and lockable cubby behind the seats round out the car's cabin storage.

The tested Mazda Miata has a hardtop that splits into two pieces to automatically disappear between the seats and trunk. The tested MX-5 Miata, a limited-run “Special Edition” model, seems to eschew the original car's emphasis on attainable driving fun. At $31,720, it's certainly affordable compared to any similar car – a Porsche Boxster, the car most similar to this Mazda's size, shape and handling focus, runs $48,000 and up.

A six-speed automatic transmission – for drivers who want to enjoy the MX-5 Miata's handling and open-top motoring, if not its power train – costs about $1,000 extra, available on all models.

The car was a hot seller 20 years ago; today's car offers the same virtues to the driving enthusiast but much less of the originality that turned heads then.

To help celebrate that occasion, it unveiled the 2011 Mazda Miata Special Edition in Chicago. Only 750 of these commemorative variants will be built, all based on the top-line Grand Touring version of the Power Retractable Hard Top (PRHT) model.

The 2011 Mazda MX-5 Miata is a two-seat roadster that is offered in three trim levels: base Sport, well equipped Touring and premium Grand Touring. In Sport trim, standard features include 16 inch cast aluminum wheels, a black vinyl convertible top with a glass rear window, air-conditioning, cloth seats, a six speaker sound system with a CD/MP3 player and an auxiliary audio jack, a height-adjustable driver seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and power windows and mirrors.

Touring and Grand Touring models can enhance the Miata’s already nimble handling with the Suspension package (only available with a manual transmission), which includes a sport tuned suspension with Brillstein shocks and a limited slip differential. It’s essentially a Grand Touring PRHT with the Premium package and, if it’s a manual transmission, the Suspension package.

The Mazda Miata Special Edition also includes unique exterior and interior colors.

Sport models come standard with a five-speed manual transmission, while touring and Grand Touring models come with a six-speed manual transmission. The six-speed manual and automatic sacrifice only 1 mpg in city mileage.

2011 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring AWD Review

2011 Mazda CX-9

Pros
  • Spacious interior for 7 passengers + luggage
  • Sliding second row seats that recline
  • Standard equipment list longer than Snoop Dog’s rap sheet
Cons
  • Exterior is too similar to the less expensive CX-7
  • Interior materials and designs are boring
  • The nav screen is hard to read in sunlight
  • Improved MPG, but not stellar
I always thought the pair of Mazda crossover SUVs, the CX-7 and CX-9, to be some of the most handsome ones on the market when they were introduced back in 2006 as 2007 models. Even in today’s crowded crossover SUV market, the Mazdas are still lookers although the styling is getting a little long in the tooth. While the larger CX-9 shares styling cues with the CX-7, it shares almost nothing else with its smaller sibling. The CX-9 is based on the same platform and shares the same 3.7 liter V6 engine as the Ford Edge/Lincoln MKX, an example of the long-term partnership between Ford and Mazda, which continues even after Ford reduced its stake in the Japanese car maker back in 2008.

2011 Mazda CX-9
Driving Impressions
On paper the CX-9 looks like an exciting ride. A 3.7 liter V6 engine with 273 HP and 270 lb.-ft. of torque, 6-speed sport automatic transmission, and an active torque split all-wheel drive system set some high expectations. Once behind the wheel though, those expectations fell flat. The CX-9 feels sluggish. It feels heavy. Don’t get me wrong, the 3.7 liter is producing significant torque and horsepower, but the CX-9 definitely doesn’t feel like it provides a lot of zoom-zoom, as Mazda likes to say. The power eventually comes on after some hesitation once you really sink your right foot into the floor, but the response is not something you should be happy with. On the freeway, this is even more pronounced, as I accelerated on the onramp to merge with moving traffic. The CX-9 handled rather well for a vehicle this size, however, and steering feel was decently heavy at highway speeds. At highway speeds, the CX-9 feels very stable. You still get the feeling that this is a big vehicle, however.
Styling
As I mentioned, the CX-9 is still a pretty slick looker after all these years. It received the Mazda shield-shaped corporate grille in 2010 but overall appearance has not evolved much at all since the original version in 2007. The 20-inch wheels on the Grand Touring edition are massive and look great on the CX-9, but they also make the ride quality a bit rough.
2011 Mazda CX-9
Although this is a 7-passenger crossover SUV, it doesn’t have that elongated look the full-size SUVs like the Suburban do. Even the other 7-passenger crossovers like the Chevy Traverse look a bit awkward with a long body. Mazda designers managed to hide the size well on the CX-9 with a strategically-placed C pillar and the CX-9 doesn’t appear much longer than the CX-7, which only seats 5.
Its styling is too similar to that of the CX-7, however, and with the competition growing denser in the full-size crossover segment, Mazda would benefit from more aggressive and distinctive styling.

2011 Mazda CX-9
Interior Comfort and Ergonomics
The CX-9 has a long list of standard equipment that one expects on a $40,000 crossover vehicle nowadays, from heated front seats and side mirrors to steering wheel mounted controls. The 8-way power driver seat and Bluetooth® are also standard. Also standard are some not-so-common features, like the separate rear seat climate control unit with top and bottom vents, a nice touch rarely seen on a sub-$40,000 vehicle.
Keyless entry and start button is also standard, as is leather trimmed seats. The seats are comfortable and firm, and the second row seats slide back and forth to give more legroom to the third row seats. Even with the third row seats up, there is still decent luggage room in the back. It is quite easy to slide the second row seats forward to access the third row, with a huge lever on the side of the second row seats and there’s another lever to fold them flat for more cargo room.
2011 Mazda CX-9 front bucket seats are power adjustable
Our tester has the optional moonroof/Bose 10-speaker package, rounding out a nice long list of amenities. The interior materials feel a bit cheap on a $40,000 car, however, and the design and layout looks just like any other Mazda. But this is the top-of-the-line Mazda. The one major complaint I have about the interior is the angle of the navigation screen. It is slanted at an angle that makes it impossible to read in direct sunlight. The funny thing is that there is a tilt option to adjust the screen, but it tilts it in the wrong direction, making it even harder to read.
Value
The CX-9 base Sport trim starts at $29k and has the same 3.7 liter V6 and has FWD. The mileage is slightly better at 17 city/24 highway, while the AWD version gets 16/22. The tester is a Grand Touring edition with AWD and the optional features MSRPs at an even $40,000. These prices are in the same range as the CX-9’s major competitors such as the Ford Explorer, Toyota Highlander, the Chevy Traverse, and the Hyundai Veracruz. The Mazda is the best looker of the bunch, but the styling is starting to feel stale.

More Stylish Than a Minivan
If you need a 7-passenger vehicle but don’t want to the bulk and poor fuel efficiency of a full-size SUV, and you hate to be seen driving around a minivan, then a mid- to full-size crossover SUV is your best bet. You don’t get as much storage room as the full-size SUV and you don’t get the convenience of power sliding doors on the minivan, but at least you look more stylish. And if style is important to you, then the Mazda CX-9 should definitely be on the top of your consideration set.

2012 Mazda 5

2012 Mazda 5
2012 Mazda5 is small for a minivan, but delivers big performance.
Reviewers say the 2012 Mazda5 has the practicality parents need and the fun-to-drive personality most minivans lack. The 2012 Mazda5 isn’t without compromises. It’s fun to drive, less expensive and gets better fuel economy than most other minivans, but doesn’t offer as much space. For some families, however, the Mazda5’s lack of space will be a deal breaker. If seating and cargo space are why you’re shopping minivans, you probably won’t like the 5. If you’re dreading buying a minivan because of how they drive or don’t quite need all the space and seating they offer, reviewers say the 2012 Mazda5 makes a great choice.

Other Minivans to Consider
The Sedona is a full-sized minivan, but has a lower price than the better-known Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna.

Details: 2012 Mazda5
The 2012 Mazda5 has been completely redesigned. Mazda skipped the 2011 model year. The Mazda5 seats six in three rows.

Right now, there is only one choice on the market: the 2012 Mazda5. We took the reins of a nicely equipped 2012 Mazda5 Touring to see if Mazda's nifty little van has the chops to take on the big boys.

When you compare the Mazda5 to the behemoths that rule the minivan segment, it's easy to understand why we'd classify this as a microvan. Mazda hopes to increase that momentum, slow as it may be, with a freshly reworked 5, complete with a thoroughly redesigned exterior inspired by Mazda's recently-nixed Nagare design language.

Mazda says the Mazda5 was penned "as a single bead of water with ripples intentionally left on the surface, such that the body's lines express the flow of motion." Mazda has queued up more Nagare up front, with an expressive and elegantly stamped hood that flows nicely into Mazda's Prozac-infused happy face grille. The last Mazda5 featured an information center at the top of the center stack. Mazda's 2+2+2 arrangement is a largely carryover affair. Filling the 5 with people does severely limit storage space, a problem Mazda has attempted to remedy with a shallow and mostly ineffective storage beneath the second row seats. Fortunately, if you stow the third row seats, you're rewarded with 44.4 cubic feet of cargo-swallowing space.

There's a reason the minivan is considered the quintessential vehicle for parents. No other vehicle can match the minivan's huge interior space, three rows of seating, sliding rear doors and low ride height. With two seats in each of its three rows, it only seats six compared to the seven- or eight-passenger seating of a big minivan (now that's an oxymoron). There's another advantage the Mazda 5 has over its quasi-family mobile competitors -- it's fun to drive. Like the Mazda 3, it goes around corners with control and poise. Some automakers may boast that their minivans or SUVs "handle like a car," but the Mazda 5 actually does. The Mazda 5 also isn't available with certain features common to regular minivans, like power-operated sliding doors, sunshades or factory-installed navigation and entertainment systems. The 2012 Mazda 5 is a three-row, six-passenger compact minivan available in three trim levels: Sport, Touring and Grand Touring. The base Sport comes standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, full power accessories, keyless entry, cruise control, automatic climate control (with rear vents and fan controls), a height-adjustable driver seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player and an auxiliary audio jack.

This package is standard on the 5 Grand Touring, which also gets automatic xenon headlights, heated mirrors, automatic wipers, driver lumbar adjustment, heated front seats and leather upholstery.

Every Mazda 5 comes with standard stability and traction control, four-wheel antilock disc brakes with brake assist, front side airbags and side curtain airbags.

Interior Design and Special Features
The front seats provide respectable comfort, though taller folks may wish for more rearward seat travel.
Driving Impressions
On the Edmunds test track, the 5 nearly matched the handling numbers of the much smaller Mazda 2.

In government crash tests, the Mazda 3 earned five stars (the highest rating) in frontal impact protection for both driver and passenger.

Interior Design and Special Features
The 2011 Mazda 3 is a class leader in terms of interior design, quality and feature content. Most Mazda 3 hatchbacks and sedans sold won't be the upper Touring and Grand Touring models, but they'll still greet their owners with high-quality materials, comfortable front seats, ample space and easy-to-reach controls.
Driving Impressions
The beefed-up 2.5-liter engine in 3s models is the same one that powers the midsize Mazda 6.
The 2011 MAZDA3 is an entry level compact available as a 4-door sedan or 5-door hatchback. The 2.0-liter engine is available with a 5-speed manual/automatic transmission while the 2.5-liter comes with a choice of a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. For those keen on gas mileage, the 2.0-liter engine with the standard manual transmission will deliver an EPA estimated 25 mpg city and 33 mpg highway.
Model Review
The Mazda3 is powered by a choice of two different 4-cylinder engines. Base Mazda3i models feature an economical 2.0-liter engine making 148 horsepower, while sportier Mazda3s models get a 167-hp, 2.5-liter engine. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard on 3i models, but sporty 3s models step up to a 6-speed manual. A 5-speed automatic is available with either engine.

2011 Mazdaspeed 3 Reviews

2011 Mazdaspeed 3
At the heart of the 2011 Mazdaspeed 3's appeal is its turbocharged 2.3-liter engine. That said, it's easily managed and reminds you that this potent hot hatch demands respect from your right foot. Thanks to its decent-sized rear seats and 42.8 cubic feet of maximum cargo capacity, the Speed 3 can handle just about anything life throws at you.

Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options
The 2011 Mazdaspeed 3 is a four-door hatchback available in one trim level known as Sport. Standard equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, high-performance summer tires, a limited-slip differential, foglights, full power accessories, cruise control, keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, front sport seats, leather and cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a digital turbo-boost gauge, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, and a six-speaker stereo with CD player, auxiliary audio jack and steering wheel controls.

Safety
Standard safety equipment includes antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front side airbags and side curtain airbags. Though the 2011 Mazdaspeed 3 itself hasn't been crash tested, the similar Mazda 3 five-door hatchback upon which it's based has been tested. In government testing, the Mazda 3 scored five out of five stars for driver and front passenger protection in a frontal crash, five stars for front side protection and four stars for rear side protection.

Interior Design and Special Features
The Mazdaspeed variant differs from the regular Mazda 3 with its upgraded gauges and sport front seats with standard black leather upholstery with cloth inserts. The front seat offers a wide range of adjustment (though no power adjustment is available) and the tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel is a welcome feature.

Driving Impressions
Routing 280 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels is usually a recipe for annoying amounts of steering-wheel-tugging torque steer. Impressively precise, the steering provides plenty of communication and faithfully transmits road information like few front-wheel-drive cars can.
The MAZDASPEED3 features an advanced torque management system, which minimizes torque steer by adjusting torque output based on gear position and steering angle. Combined with wide, high-grip 225/40R18 Dunlop SP Sport 2050 performance tires, the MAZDASPEED3’s suspension tuning marries unflappable control with a comfortable everyday ride.
Rigid high-speed steering feel can be accomplished without suffering heavy steering at low speeds.

For 2011, the MAZDASPEED3 Technology Package is expanded with rain-sensing front wipers, auto on/off headlights, Bi-Xenon headlights with auto leveling, Adaptive Front-lighting system (AFS), and LED rear combination taillights. The MAZDASPEED3 is the third model in the 2011 MAZDA3 lineup, joining the MAZDA3 5-door, and the 4-door sedan.

Inside the MazdaSpeed3 gets the sort of boy-racer stylings the bodywork suggests, mixed with Mazda’s unusually premium-for-its-class interior. Our Velocity Red Mica test car featured black and red interior patterned material on the doors, with the same design (in plastic) running across the dash. The Nav system, a part of the $1,895 Tech Package is humorously small.

Sure it’s a functional front-drive hatchback, but the MazdaSpeed3 delivers horsepower and handling, not to mention great looks and an interior well above many of its competitors. With few reasonably priced performance vehicles on the road, the MazdaSpeed3 is, thankfully, a hard-core hot hatch that delivers.

New Generation Mazda CX-5 2013 Spy Pictures

And leaving less for the Mazda CX family complete with a new addition to compact size. At the Geneva Motor Show the Japanese showed an advance in the form of prototype of what will be the CX-5, a rival for the Tiguan, and Koleos Kuga among others.

Viewing the latest SUV spy photos we can not draw too many conclusions because the mule is based on the CX-7 and barely lets us see something of the future model. What is known is that the production model will be somewhat smaller than the Concept Minagi seen in Switzerland. To see the final appearance and meet other features will have to wait until the Frankfurt Motor Show, next September.

2011 Mazda3 review

Reviewers give the 2011 Mazda3 a thumbs up for its high performance and nice interior, but many grimace at its smiling front grill. Because the Mazda3 was just redesigned for 2010, the 2011 Mazda3 is almost identical to the 2010. Reviewers praise the 2011 Mazda3’s interior almost as much as its performance. Also, like the 2010 Mazda3, the 2011’s exterior isn’t perfect.

If you plan to buy a used model Mazda3, be aware that Mazda recalled over 200,000 model year 2007-2009 Mazda3 and Mazda5 vehicles. There are few small cars and hatchbacks that have the Mazda3’s level of sportiness or fun driving experience, but the Honda Civic is a another good option. Some reviewers call the Fiesta the best-driving car in the class. The base sedan starts below the "Mazda3" at $13,320, and buyers can opt for a five-door hatchback.

The Mazda 3 is also notable for the number of upmarket features that are available, including bi-xenon headlights, keyless ignition/entry and dual-zone automatic climate control. All models now have stability control, while the Grand Touring trims receive the formerly optional Bose audio system and sunroof.

For my family, the Mazda3 easily adjusted to our lives. While the Mazda3 seats five, it's a tight squeeze to do so. The child in the center seat probably would have been more comfortable had I used backless booster seats for my girls, giving the child more shoulder room.

While there's enough room in the backseat to fit a rear-facing infant-safety seat, there's not enough space for a rear-facing convertible child-safety seat without moving the front passenger seat really far forward.

The 2011 Mazda 3 is available in four-door compact sedan and hatchback body styles.
The 3i model (sedan only) is offered in SV, Sport and Touring trim levels. Standard equipment on the SV includes 16-inch steel wheels, a 60/40-split-folding seat, height-adjustable driver seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering column, full power accessories and a four-speaker stereo with a CD player, an auxiliary audio jack and steering-wheel controls. The 3s Sport (available as sedan and hatchback) adds the more powerful 2.5-liter engine, different front and rear fascias, 17-inch alloy wheels, foglights, dual exhaust tips, rear spoiler, aggressively bolstered front seats, upgraded upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a trip computer and electroluminescent gauges. The 3s Grand Touring adds a sunroof, heated outside mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 10-speaker Bose audio system (with an in-dash, six-disc CD changer), heated front seats, leather upholstery and an eight-way power driver seat.

The Technology package (available for the 3s Sport and 3s Grand Touring) includes rain-sensing windshield wipers, automatic headlights, adaptive bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights, keyless ignition/entry, satellite radio and a navigation system (with steering-wheel controls and a small, high-mounted display screen).

The 2011 Mazda 3i comes with a 2.0-liter inline-4 that produces 148 horsepower and 135 pound-feet of torque. Estimated fuel economy is 24 mpg city/33 mpg highway and 27 mpg combined with the automatic -- the manual stands at 25/33/28. Estimated fuel economy is 22 mpg city/29 mpg highway and 25 mpg combined with the automatic (20/28/23 with the manual). Both fuel economy and acceleration are on par with similarly powerful small cars.
Standard safety equipment on the 2011 Mazda 3 includes stability and traction control, antilock disc brakes (with brake assist), active front head restraints, front side airbags and side curtain airbags. In government crash tests, the Mazda 3 earned five stars (the highest rating) in frontal impact protection for both driver and passenger.

The beefed-up 2.5-liter engine in 3s models is the same one that powers the midsize Mazda 6.

Mazda crying in workshops in North America 35 000 sedan Mazda6 because spiders.

They also like to be accommodated in the fuel systems of cars Franspres agency reported. Once in the car shouted, spiders entangling nets in the ventilation pipes of the tank, which can "leak fuel and ignition of the car."

For the first time this problem was discovered in 2009. Since then known 19 similar cases where spiders settled in the fuel system of the car and caused problems.

According to research sedan was attacked by only one type of spiders living in certain areas in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. Therefore the action affects only the Mazda 6 sold in those areas.

2011 Mazda Tribute Reviews

The 2011 Mazda Tribute is a compact SUV available in i Sport, i Touring, i Grand Touring and s Grand Touring. The Grand Touring trims add heated mirrors, a sunroof, heated front seats, leather upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel,
auto-dimming rearview mirror and satellite radio. The 2011 Mazda Tribute i models are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 171 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque.
Front-wheel drive is standard on all Tributes, while all but the i Sport can be equipped with all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 22 mpg city/28 mpg highway and 23 mpg combined with front-wheel drive and 20/26/23 with all-wheel drive.
A six-speed automatic is standard. EPA-estimated fuel economy stands at 19 mpg city/25 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined with front-wheel drive and 18/23/20 with all-wheel drive.

The 2011 Mazda Tribute comes with standard antilock brakes (front disc, rear drum), stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags and side curtain airbags. Thankfully, the Tribute and Escape's crash ratings are strong.

In general, the 2011 Mazda Tribute is pleasant to drive.
The "2011 Mazda Tribute" ranks 21 out of 23 Affordable Compact SUVs. Reviewers say the 2011 Mazda Tribute pales in comparison not only to its platform-mate, the Ford Escape, but also to most compact SUVs.

Poor Mazda Tribute – it just doesn’t seem to fit in anywhere. It’s that re-badging that many reviewers say is the problem with the Mazda Tribute. While the Ford Escape has benefited from freshening and high-tech interior features that reviewers love, the Tribute has languished. The Tribute shares a platform with the Ford Escape, and reviewers say that if you like the Tribute, you’ll love the Escape.

For 2011, the Tribute is mostly unchanged. The Tribute comes in several trims: i Sport, i Touring, i Grand Touring, and s Grand Touring.

Double-overhead camshafts improve engine breathing and high-revving response, which in turn improves performance and fuel economy. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard.
Electric Power Steering (EPS), which improves vehicle sensitivity, is standard, and, improves NVH and fuel economy by eliminating the power steering pump.

Part of being a great sports vehicle is great sporty design, and the Tribute scores well here. Tribute’s interior is upscale and comfortable. Car-like front-wheel drive is standard. If extra traction is necessary – either for off-road driving or pulling heavy loads in slippery conditions – the Tribute is available with Mazda’s innovative Active Torque Control Coupling (ATCC) four-wheel-drive system. A sophisticated computer monitors the engine, wheel speeds and transmission, and automatically transfers torque between the front and rear wheels. Compared with less sophisticated four-wheel drive systems, ATCC improves driving responsiveness, handling and fuel economy.

The vehicle seats five adults in comfort. Both front doors have storage compartments, as do the backs of each front seat (Touring and Grand Touring models).

The rear seat is asymmetrically split 60:40, which improves carrying versatility. Standard features include automatic headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, air conditioning, AM/FM/CD audio system, ambient temperature gauge, remote keyless entry system and power mirrors, door locks and windows. Cruise control is standard on vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions. A more sophisticated and cozy interior features leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, garage door opener, electrochromatic mirror with rearview backup camera display and leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Special Series Mazda MX-5 Kendo

2012 Mazda3 refreshed and got a new power plant

The most notable change in the exterior of the sedan and hatchback Mazda3 is a new front bumper with a slightly modified radiator grille, side sections and other headlights head light. In addition, cars can be ordered with 16 - and 17-inch wheels of the new design.
Detailed information about power plant SkyActiv has not been disclosed. Previously reported that the gasoline engine from this series will get direct fuel injection and high compression ratio. This unit is 15 percent more economical than its predecessors and has great torque. Engine capacity and its capacity is not known.

The new automatic transmission, according to representatives of Mazda, "will improve the efficiency of an additional seven percent. Note that in line SkyActiv also includes a diesel engine, lighter body structure and a new chassis.
